Russell Wilson could very well finish his decorated career with his new team, the Denver Broncos.

Wilson and the Broncos have reportedly reached terms on a lucrative five-year contract extension, which could keep him in Denver for seven more seasons since he already had two years left on his old deal.
The new deal calls for $165 million in guaranteed salary, per Adam Schefter of ESPN, in addition to the combined $41 million Wilson is owed between this season and 2023.
Wilson, who turns 34 in November, was acquired by Denver in an offseason blockbuster with the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for several players, two first-round draft picks, two second-rounders, and a fourth and a fifth.
The move came after more than a year of reports indicating that Wilson and the Seahawks were not seeing eye-to-eye and could be heading toward a split. Wilson, who starred collegiately at North Carolina State and Wisconsin, was said to be unhappy with his role in the organization's decision-making, as well as the team's offensive philosophy.
Wilson's extension is the latest in a string of lucrative new contracts for quarterbacks around the NFL, following new deals for Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray and Deshaun Watson, to name a few. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has also been engaged in protracted extension negotiations as he enters the fifth year of his rookie deal.
Meanwhile according to Pro Football Talk, Wilson's new contract is exceedingly team-friendly, and the $165 million he is owed is not "fully" guaranteed.
