Jerry Rice joined The Morning Roast on Monday in the wake of the 49ers’ 24-16 win over the Rams and detailed just how consequential the victory was.
"It was really big. It was probably, I would say, it was a 10," Rice said on 95.7 The Game.
"It was a 10 because they needed to win that. They needed to get that feel again. Because they got the Patriots, the Seattle Seahawks, the Packers and the Saints and then they go into their bye week.”
“This team right now, with what they accomplished yesterday, the momentum can throw them right into the Patriots."
"And it's one team at a time. You know you don't look at the entire four and say we are going to win all four. You take them one at a time. But I think momentum-wise and from a confidence status that really helped them yesterday."
