Ahead of the 49ers season opener against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's, Jerry Rice joined The Morning Show to discuss what he's opening to see from the Super Bowl runner-ups.
"I want to see that intensity," Rice said on 95.7 The game. "I want to see that fire out there on the football field and I want to see the San Francisco 49ers really make a statement on opening day."
"If they can do that, I think it's gonna send a message to not only the teams in their division but other teams, too."
The 49ers host the Cardinals, and burgeoning QB star Kyler Murray, on Sunday at 1:25pm sans fans. The team will then fly across the country to meet the New York Jets on Sept. 20.
