Legendary play-by-play man Joe Buck of ESPN joined The Morning Roast on Monday to preview the 49ers/Vikings matchup tonight and provided some insight on Brock Purdy.
"I know from talking to Kyle yesterday that he's over the moon with him, Buck told Bonta and Shasky. "I think he's able to do what he's always wanted to do with the offense with Brock Purdy. I think he had to adjust with Jimmy and they did some great things, they won a ton of games, but I think he's able to do what he wants to do with their offense with Brock."
Buck also shared an incredible nickname that Kyle Shanahan had bestowed upon the young quarterback, "Shanahan had told us that he's got big thick legs and they call him 'Baby Bosa' around the team."
Buck added that Purdy told him the team still calls him that because it made the ESPN telecast.
