UPDATE: The Nick Bosa has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, an MRI confirmed the injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Add Solomon Thomas to the list of 49ers done for the season:

Earlier in the day on Monday, head coach Kyle Shanahan provided an update on the list of injured 49ers.

The 49ers placed both defensive lineman on the Injured Reserve List on Wednesday morning, as part of a roster reshuffle:

The team also added DL Alex Barrett and RB Austin Walter to the practice squad.

The injuries just keep on piling up for the San Francisco 49ers.

Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas, Jimmy Garoppolo and Raheem Mostert were all forced to leave Sunday's Week 2 game against the Jets due to injuries and will not return.

Both Bosa and Thomas were both carted off the field within minutes of each other and ruled out for the remainder of the game early in the first quarter.

Garoppolo limped off the field after a sack early in the game, but remained in for the rest of the first half before he was ruled out at halftime and replaced by Nick Mullens.

Mostert was also ruled out at halftime with a knee injury.

Following the game, head coach Kyle Shanahan said Garoppolo was dealing with a high ankle sprain while the team fears that Bosa and Thomas both tore their left ACL.

Bosa’s injury occurred with more than five minutes remaining in the first quarter when he was upended while attempting to get off a block and tackle Jets running back Frank Gore.

Bosa’s left leg appeared to buckle as he went down. The second year defensive end tried to sit up before the medical team ran out to check on him.

A cart was brought out to last year’s NFL Rookie Defensive Player of the Year to the locker room for further evaluation, where he was later ruled out for the rest of the game.

Just a few plays later, fellow Niners pass rusher Solomon Thomas was carted off the field as well.

The Niners are among the most beat up teams around the league early in the season. Tight end George Kittle was ruled out for Week 2 earlier in the week while cornerback Richard Sherman and wide receiver Deebo Samuel have both landed on the IR.
