As Jimmie Ward put it succinctly earlier in training camp: Bosa’s gonna be Bosa.
49ers defensive end Nick Bosa returned to Santa Clara in tip-top shape this summer and he’s been a standout throughout camp. The Minnesota Vikings got an up-close look Thursday, as Bosa toyed with their offensive line in the second of two joint practices before Saturday’s preseason matchup in Minneapolis.
The folks over at @TheSFNiners shared video of Bosa’s dominating performance Thursday.
Big boss moves from Bosa.
After practice, he stopped to sign autographs for his fans in Minnesota.
Huge things are expected from the fourth-year edge rusher, who many felt was snubbed from the All-Pro team last year. He ranked fourth in the league with 15.5 sacks in the regular season and added four more in the playoffs, as he is already the franchise leader in postseason sacks (eight) in just six games.
Not that we needed any more confirmation that Bosa is a beast – he’s been proudly showing off his abs all camp – but No. 97 looks poised to have a monster campaign in 2022.
