The 49ers announced that Brock Prudy has cleared the NFL concussion protocol and has no injury designation against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The announcement clears the way for Purdy to start on Sunday. Purdy returned to practice on Thursday in a limited fashion and then was a full participant on Friday setting up the final clearance for today. Kyle Shanahan told reporters Purdy would start if he cleared this final hurdle.
