Six 49ers recognized on Associated Press All-Pro teams

A couple days after the NFL Players’ Association (NFLPA) announced its All-Pro team, the traditional All-Pro teams were released by the Associated Press on Friday.

Four 49ers were named to the first team while two more were named to the second team.

Defensive end Nick Bosa, tackle Trent Williams and linebacker Fred Warner were named to the AP All-Pro First Team and also appeared on the NFLPA’s All-Pro team. Safety Talanoa Hufanga was also named AP First Team All-Pro, while fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who made the NFLPA All-Pro Team, wasn’t represented by the AP since they don’t vote on a fullback. Tight end George Kittle and special teamer George Odum also made the AP All-Pro second team.

While Hufanga is something of a surprise given his second-half struggles in coverage, many felt like running back Christian McCaffrey and linebacker Dre Greenlaw were snubbed after their spectacular seasons.
