The Morning Roast: 49ers injuries are mounting

The 49ers got a handful of players back for Tuesday's practice, while several others were not on the field and will be out for an extended period of time.

Backup quarterback Mac Jones went down with a knee injury that's not expected to sideline him for Week 1. Meanwhile, backup running back and special teams ace Patrick Taylor was placed on season-ending IR due to a shoulder injury. Offensive linemen Ben Bartch (elbow) and Dominick Puni (knee), Jauan Jennings (calf), and defensive end Mykel Williams (knee) are among the other 49ers who are sidelined.
