Trey Lance was in the house Monday night to watch the 49ers in person for the first time since suffering a season-ending ankle/foot injury in Week 2.

After the Niners defense dominated in the 24-9 victory over their NFC West rival Rams, Lance was spotted exiting the stadium on a scooter, with his right foot and ankle in a heavy cast.

And for those asking, I filmed that video and I’m not sure if Lance fell on the other side of that corner, but it sure looked like he might have caught a wheel on some carpet.

The 49ers are riding with Jimmy Garoppolo again this season after Lance’s injury. Jimmy G finished 16-of-27 for 239 yards, including a 57-yard catch-and-run by Deebo Samuel. San Francisco is also going to be without starting tailback Elijah Mitchell (MCL sprain) for about five more weeks and are waiting to see if All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams (high ankle sprain) can avoid a stint on the injured reserve after he got hurt in Week 3.

Williams was also spotted leaving the 49ers locker room Monday night, fitted with a walking boot on his right foot.

The 49ers offense doesn’t have to be amazing, though, because the defense is dominant and looking like the league’s top unit. They might be able to weather all these injuries to their offense.

Lance still has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but it’s nice to see he got to enjoy the ‘W’ with his teammates Monday night.
