The Giants have reportedly made their first splash this winter, as the club and superstar Japanese outfielder Jung Hoo Lee have agreed to a six-year, $113 million contract on Tuesday, Audacy MLB insider Jon Heyman reported. The contract includes an opt-out after four years.

Lee was posted by the Kiwoom Heroes of the Korean Baseball League after spending seven seasons with the organization, allowing him to play in the Major Leagues.
Lee, 25, was the MVP of the KBO in 2022 after hitting .349 with a career-high 23 homers, 23 RBI and a .996 OPS across 142 games.
Lee's 2023 season was cut short when he fractured his ankle in July, but he's expected to be ready for spring training. Lee hit .318 with six home runs and 45 RBI in 86 games last season.
Over his seven-year career, Lee is a .340 hitter and has a .898 OPS.
