Nine years have passed since the Giants won their last World Series. Hunter Pence played all 162 games that 2014 season, making the All-Star team.
As he surveys the MLB landscape heading into Tuesday’s trade deadline, Pence thinks the Giants have what it takes to win the ultimate prize.
On Friday, Pence joined 95.7 The Game’s “Willard & Dibs” and claimed San Francisco already has enough firepower to win the World Series.
“I 100% do,” Pence told Mark Willard and Dan Dibley. “They have the talent to win a World Series with what they can put out there right now."
They’ll need to make a big push.
Entering play Friday, the Giants hold the top National League Wild Card spot, but still trailed the hated Dodgers by three games for first place in the NL West.
