The title of her podcast may be “Anna Faris Is Unqualified,” but maybe she should change it to “Anna Faris Is Hitched” after her recent elopement!

The 44-year old actress revealed on her podcast this week that she tied the knot with Michael Barrett in small courthouse ceremony on San Juan Island in Washington state.

“I think we’ve spent the last year in a place of reflection, in a place of kind of prioritization to some degree, a place of anxiety, a place of assessment. I’m looking around, just so, just my fiancé’s right… he’s now my husband,” she said on the podcast.

She continued, admitting that they eloped before apologizing to her new husband. “I’m sorry, honey. I just blurted that out, but it just feels like I can’t say fiancé anymore,” she said to the 51-year old cinematographer.

Faris’ listeners weren’t the only ones who were surprised by the news. The “Mom” star shared that she also spilled the beans to her family after the fact. “My aunt asked me ‘you are going to be a stepmom. How are you feeling about that?’ and I said ‘well, actually I am a stepmom as of like four days ago,’ but it was great. Everything about it just felt right.”

Prior to her marriage with Barrett, Faris was married to actor Ben Indra from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, she married actor Chris Pratt. They share a son, Jack, who was born in August 2012. The couple divorced in 2018.

In May, Faris opened up about her previous marriages on an episode of her podcast. Speaking to actress Rachel Bilson, Faris said that “after every breakup, at some point I realize that there were a lot of things I ignored that I really shouldn't have. In hindsight, it felt like my hand was forced. I don't think it was ever an independent decision.”
