“Already on board, Danny Mays, one of my favorite actors playing my father," George shared with excitement. "And there's rumors of Keanu Reeves popping in. Oh, name drop!”

Clearly thrilled for the project ahead, he also shared that filming will begin this Summer “in London and around the world.” While everything seems to be falling into place quite nicely for the film, there’s just one giant puzzle piece that seems to be missing.

“There's only one problem, and it's quite major,” he said. “Who's going to play me? So we're looking for a brave young actor, from anywhere on the globe, to take on the role of his [Boy George’s] life. And it will be brilliant. I want to be impressed!" Any takers?

Written and directed by Sacha Gervasi and produced by Millennium Media, the project will highlight the early years of Boy George and his journey to fame alongside group-members Mikey Craig, Roy Hay and Jon Moss.

Excitement for the finished product is clearly building as Boy George releases more information and he isn’t afraid to dream big for its success. “I’m already writing my Oscar speech,” he captioned the video on his Instagram. We love the confidence!
