Just ahead of her milestone 50th birthday, Gwyneth Paltrow welcomed a very special guest, husband Brad Falchuk, to The Goop Podcast for an in-depth conversation surrounding their marriage, struggles of aging, and what they’re looking forward to most in the next phase of their lives together.

Paltrow and Falchuk have been through their fair share of ups and downs since they wed in September 2018. From navigating a second marriage to managing the expectations of becoming a step-parent the pair say they have now found their stride and are ready to enter into a new phase as they both celebrate being in their 50s and their fourth year of marriage to one another.
As they enter the next phase, they both have adventure and staying present on their minds.
“I need to figure out ways to slow down and take some pressure off myself,” Paltrow said when asked what goals she has heading into her 50th year. “All the pillars of my real life are so good. You, my friends, my children… but there’s a lot of [work] pressure and stress and I’d like to figure out how to downshift a little and let my nervous system calm down.”
“I really look forward to having some adventures with you,” Falchuk responded to the same question.
