Former Texans player Seth Payne is excited about the contract extension for Houston right guard Shaq Mason and the potential of rookie Juice Scruggs at center.
The Texans traded for Mason from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this off-season, then extended his deal. Scruggs is Houston's second-round pick.
