(SportsRadio 610) - Texans quarterback Jeff Driskel is being elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for a third time this season, the team announced Saturday.
Driskel was elevated for the first two games of the season, when the Texans faced the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. His activation for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys means he's on the active roster for the rest of the season, since a player can be elevated up to three times.

With the Texans going back to Davis Mills from Kyle Allen as their starting quarterback, this likely means Allen will be inactive Sunday and likely the rest of the season.
In two games, Driskel's run the ball twice for 15 yards. He has not thrown a pass.
The Texans also elevated wide receiver Jalen Camp from the practice squad, and announced offensive lineman Justin McCray would not travel with the team to Dallas due to a hamstring injury.
