(SportsRadio 610) -- Texans rookie quarterback Davis Mills has officially signed with the team.
Mills' contract is worth $5.22 million over four years. The Texans selected the 6'4", 225-pound quarterback with the No. 67 overall pick in the third round of this year's NFL Draft.
Mills is expected to compete with veterans Tyrod Taylor and Jeff Driskel, who signed with Houston as free agents this offseason.
The future of Deshaun Watson remains uncertain, but it's well-known he wants out of Houston. The Texans, by drafting Mills and signing Taylor and Driskel, have shown they are prepared to move on from Watson.
