That's right! Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlain, and James Iha of The Smashing Pumpkins are on the look out for a new guitar player, and they'e opening up the audition process to anyone who wishes to submit their info.
The news follows guitarist Jeff Schroeder's departure from the band in October of 2023, stating at the time on the band's Instagram, "Although it was a very difficult decision to make, I’ve decided to leave the band to make some space to explore a slightly different path.” Jeff joined as a touring member of the group during Zeitgeist era and continued performing with the band through last year’s ATUM album recordings.
