People went absolutely bonkers for Beanie Babies in the 1990s.

New movie “The Beanie Bubble” explores the creation of the plush toys by Ty Warner. He’s portrayed by Zach Galifianakis in the feature.

The movie will hit select theaters July 21 and be available to stream via Apple TV+ July 28 as it looks at the ‘90s toys that turned up a real frenzy.

Directed by Kristin Gore and Damian Kulash Jr., the story of the popular stuffed animals also features Elizabeth Banks and Sarah Snook.

“Why did the world suddenly treat stuffed animals like gold?” an official synopsis reads. It goes on to call Warner’s creation a “masterstroke” and how with the help of three women turned it into the “biggest toy crazy in history.”

“Do you know what the greatest thing about America is? You can make things happen here like nowhere else. You have the power to create your own future. You can be anything! You can do anything!” Galifianakis’ Warner asks and answers in the trailer.

In the movie Banks portrays Warner’s business partner, Robbie, whom he had a rocky relationship with as the toys’ popularity skyrocketed. Snook plays Warner’s wife, Sheila.

“The Beanie Bubble” is in theaters July 21 and on Apple TV+ July 28.
