Calling it a “summer anthem,” Luda explained that contrary to what some might think, “Pull Over” is not specifically about a woman, but rather "other things that have body and curves." He explains that he took a break from the industry to gain perspective, step back from the politics, and reconnect with his love for music from a "kid's point of view."

“It's time for fun in music again,” he shares, revealing that an album is planned for release later this year.

"What feels different is that when I stepped away, it was to get that perspective. Sometimes you have to step back in order to become that fan again because the music industry, as we all know or have heard, you can get twisted in too much of the politics, you know what I mean? And so when you're able to take that step back, you have to realize what made you fall in love with it in the first place."

When asked about the biggest lessons he has learned over his 25-plus year career, Ludacris offers sage advice. “Keep business out of personal, keep personal out of business.”
