Brian Bratton is an accomplished, respected current football coach and former professional athlete with a diverse football background that spans from his stellar playing career at Furman University. During his time as a Furman Paladin, he led the NCAA in kickoff return average, was voted a team captain and earned All- American honors.
Brian's collegiate achievements led to playing opportunities with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens, as well as NFL Europe followed by the Canadian Football League. He garnered the prestigious Tom Pate Award CFL’s Man of the Year honor in 2012 with the Montreal Alouettes.
Due to his extensive experience playing football professionally, Brian earned coaching opportunities at both the collegiate and professional levels and is a current coach at his Alma mater, Furman University. Additionally has worked directly with both the Baltimore Ravens & Chicago Bears, as well as the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts.
Brian’s Heart is in developing, inspiring and equipping the next generations in his community. He aspires to encourage others to follow their dreams, persevere through difficulty, and chase greatness in all that they do. Brian speaks regularly in the Greenville area to various corporations, businesses, groups, and church’s with the goal of making a difference in the Greenville community.
