Brionna has spent her career serving the needs of families in her community in administrative, marketing and community relations roles. Most recently, Brionna worked for Absolute Total Care, a multi-line health insurance company. There she was responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of targeted outreach and marketing campaigns for the ATC brand in South Carolina. With an acute focus on healthy lifestyles for mothers and children, Brionna organized and participated in events and promotions that best represented ATC’s vision as a premiere health plan. One of Brionna’s major focuses in her role was to support and build community-based programs and collaborations with stakeholders that increased brand awareness of ATC. Responsible for statewide outreach efforts, Brionna has seen success in the following roles: strategic planning, program management/development, relationship building, community outreach, and budget allocation. Prior to that, Brionna worked for the Augusta Housing Authority. There she provided a variety of educational, recreational, and social services to address the needs of the families in public housing in Augusta, GA. She has been engaged in community, government and media relations, corporate communications, event planning, marketing and social media management. She recently accepted a new role in Management and has relocated to Richmond, Virginia.
Brionna obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University. Active with several nonprofit organizations over the years, Brionna has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brother Big Sister of the Upstate, The Urban League’s Young Professional Association, the Board of Directors for The Parenting Place, the American Lung Association’s Women’s Lung Force committee and the marketing committee for Greenville Chamber’s Young Professional Association, PULSE. She recently completed the National Urban League's inaugural congressional advocacy program, is a recipient of the 2015 SC Black Pages Top 40 under 40 and a recipient of the 2017 Talented Tenth Young Professional Award.
