Drive Alert Training Academy, LLC was founded by Tina Dodd, a disabled military veteran, and a former local, state and federal law enforcement officer who saw too many lives being lost in vehicle collisions.
Tina wanted to be part of the solution, so she developed a new level of comprehensive, state-of-the art classes, the only driving training school in SC to provide high-quality teaching of proper driving techniques with the use of interactive simulation training. This advanced technology helps develop; perceptual, cognitive, scanning techniques and much more.
Tina, did not only stop their, she continued her efforts to partner with national safety organizations to become the only driving school in the general area to be an American Automobile Association (AAA) Approved Driving School with combined certifications from AAA, and the National Safety Council to instruct the Alive at 25 Course.
Tina knows the importance of sowing good seeds back in fertile ground by volunteering with Meals-on-Wheels, and is an active board member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and the South Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association in which she was awarded the 2018 Commercial Teacher of the Year Award.
