In a historic move, Josh Simpson was elected as the Mayor of Reidville in January 2024, becoming the town's youngest and first Black Mayor. Originally hailing from Union, SC, Josh pursued his education at Wofford College, where he not only excelled academically, graduating cum laude with a degree in accounting, but also showcased his athletic prowess as a pitcher for the Terriers.
