Audacy

Sharee was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. Sharee is a mother of two, the downtown Development Coordinator for the City of Concord, a philanthropist, and passionate about motherhood, advocacy, and community empowerment. Sharee Allen is the founder and president of Mint to Be of the Carolinas, an organization dedicated to supporting mothers through counseling, education, and advocacy.

With a heart for service, Sharee has built a safe and welcoming space where mothers—regardless of background—can find guidance, resources, and encouragement as they navigate the challenges of motherhood.

Her vision for Mint to Be stems from personal experiences and a deep understanding of the unique struggles mothers face. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded to offer postpartum counseling, financial literacy workshops, and community baby showers, all designed to uplift and strengthen families in Cabarrus County and beyond.

Beyond her work with Mint to Be, Sharee is a dedicated advocate for maternal wellness, a mentor to young mothers, and a champion for community-driven change. Her commitment to breaking stigmas around motherhood, mental health, and self-care continues to shape the impact of Mint to Be and inspire those around her.

Motherhood is not meant to be done alone. Mint to Be is here to remind every mother that she is seen, valued, and supported – Sharee Allen
