Gregory D. Canzater began career at UPS in 1987 as a loader in the Columbia Hub. He has held various transportation, package, and support function roles in the South Carolina and North Carolina such as Hub Supervisor, Industrial Engineer Supervisor and Feeder On-Road Supervisor, Hub Manager, Feeder/Dispatch Manager, Special projects include MDTS Lead Supervisor, Southeast Transportation Manager to open the West Charlotte Automated Supervisor for Feeder Onboarding for SOA. Gregory also served on the Regional Safety Committee Team Task Force and led the on-boarding project for new feeder drivers of SOA. In 2023, Gregory was promoted to the Transportation Division Manager of South Carolina, Charlotte NC & surrounding NC cities, and Savannah GA division.
In addition, Gregory is the owner of GLC Enterprises Inc, a real estate company with single family homes and multi-family units throughout Spartanburg County and Columbia SC. Gregory is also the co-owner of Monarch of Spartanburg, LLC.
Gregory is a graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Professional Science degree in Marketing (Cum Laude). Gregory also attended Winthrop University where he received an Executive MBA degree (Cum Laude). Gregory is a Lifetime member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and a Charter Founding member of the 100 Black Men of the Upstate.
Gregory is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he serves as a Trustee. In his free time, Gregory enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to his community. He and his wife Liberty of 24 years are the parents of one daughter, Zoey, and son Jamal.
