Judge Jacquelyn is a graduate of the 1985 class of J L Mann High School and is employed by Greenville County as a Magistrate Judge. She also attended & graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College and Colorado Tech University where she earned several degrees in Criminal Justice and graduated Cum Laude... She also earned degrees in Legal Studies & Court Process, and Crime Scene Investigations.

Judge retired early in her career from the City of Greenville’s Municipal Court where she worked for 28 years as Senior Clerk of Court Operations & Coordinator under the tutelage of Judge Mathew Hawley and Judge Stephen S Bartlett and afterwards was appointed in her new career as a Magistrate Judge by Senator Karl Allen & Governor Nikki Haley.  Judge has always been a public servant, very passionate about her career in Criminal Justice, loves to administer justice and very compassionate about helping others. She studied the laws and made sure they were applied in all her work and studies.

She attends New Beginnings Methodist Missionary church from birth where she became Lay Leader for the United Methodist Church & Conference and participates also in several ministries including the Choir, the Youth Ministry and serves as Financial Secretary.

Judge serves on several Board of Directors as well, Beyond Housing, Within Reach (defunct), Habitat for Humanity, Bundle of Joy Academy, and served as past President / Secretary for the Greenville West End Lions Club.

Judge is very generous and gives monetary donations to many charities including Miracle Hill Ministries, Salvation Army, and Goodwill locally, National Firefighters Association, Police Officer Memorial Fund, Disabled Veterans, ASPCA (for mistreatment of animals) and her biggest donation is always St Jude’s Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research.
