Tammy Hunt is a HBCU grad, a Member of Zeta Phi Beta SORORITY INC , a Wine Enthusiast, Mother, loving Wife and the Proud owner of The Bougie Wine Experience.
Driven by her love for wine, she takes pride in providing the best and most intimate wine tasting experience possible. With there being only 1% of African Americans that are a part of the Wine and Spirits industry she is determined to be one of the few to break these barriers.
As a wine enthusiast, her goals include creating a safe space for people of the culture to enjoy wine while conversing with like minded individuals , also to become a sommelier , and the owner of her own Private Wine Label.
In addition to hosting wine tastings and sharing her love for wine with others, she has also been dedicated to giving back to her community through her acts of service. Since starting her business in July 2022, she has been able to raise almost 300.00 for local black owned nonprofits in the upstate. She strongly feels that some of the best conversations have been started with a glass of wine.
Her favorite quote is by the late great Maya Angelou: “People will forget what you said, People will forget what you did but they’ll never forget how you made them feel”.
