Leon Irby, better known as Big Dre, is a dynamic entrepreneur, community leader, and dedicated family man. Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Leon graduated from Greenville High School in 1994 and went on to earn a degree in Industrial Technology from Greenville Technical College. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for his impressive career as a business owner and community advocate.
Since 2009, Big Dre has been the proud owner of Leon’s Tire Express, a business that has grown to include two successful locations. His commitment to providing high-quality tire services and exceptional customer care has made Leon’s Tire Express a trusted name in the Greenville area. Big Dre also ventured into the restaurant industry, owning Blue Avenue & Restaurant for nearly three years, where he expanded his entrepreneurial expertise and deepened his ties to the community.
In addition to his accomplishments in the automotive and food industries, Big Dre has made significant strides in real estate. Through his company LAI Real Estate, he has successfully helped house over 25 families, demonstrating his commitment to improving living conditions and providing opportunities for those in need. His passion for helping others also extends to his entertainment company, Big Dre Entertainment, where he works to create memorable experiences and foster a strong cultural presence in the region.
Alongside his business endeavors, Big Dre is a proud father of five children, balancing the responsibilities of both fatherhood and entrepreneurship with grace. His drive and work ethic are deeply rooted in his desire to make a lasting impact on his family and his community.
