LaTonya is a South Carolina native and a graduate from Greenville Technical College. Being the first in her family, she is a best-selling author and an acclaimed dental professional who enjoys writing adorable children’s books in an inspiring way. She has previously published two children’s books: Fuzzy Tooth Critters and Mila’s Big Day, First Dental Visit to promote dental awareness and tips for overcoming dental fears. She’s currently creating many more exciting stories to make the world a brighter and happier place.
As a registered dental hygienist, her main goals are to implement the importance of brushing and flossing, eating healthy, and maintaining a beautiful smile. She’s a strong advocate of the essentials of dental hygiene care for children and adults. LaTonya believes it’s important for authors to share relatable stories that encourage others to be great, make a difference in one’s life, and bring joy while reading. Writing and reading inspiring stories is her happy place and comfort zone.
Lastly, LaTonya is a proud wife and mother of two who values quality family time. She enjoys writing in her inspirational journal and giving back to the community. Most of all, she cherishes the many invitations and opportunities to visit early childhood education facilities and elementary schools.
