Denice Harris is the Director of Housing & Property Management at Homes of Hope, Inc. She has been employed with the organization for fourteen years. She oversees approximately 425 affordable housing units for individuals and or families with low to moderate incomes in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Rock Hill, Laurens, Clinton and Columbia.

Denise is committed to fulfilling the company’s mission to open doors for economic mobility through housing, economic and workforce development as well as creating an atmosphere of empowerment by helping clients develop essential life skills necessary to maintain stable housing. Denice developed and facilitated Financial Wellness training focused on budget, banking and building assets. She is dedicated to serving the community and helping housing clients overcome situational and generational poverty mindsets by introducing new norms.


Denice was born and raised in Greenville SC. She attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia and Spartanburg where she majored in Criminal Justice. She has an adult daughter and son.

Denice is a Certified Christian Life Coach and Financial Counseling Coach. She has been recognized with the following awards for her work and dedication to the affordable housing industry: Dream Achiever Award with the YWCA Women of Achievement and Women Leading the Way Through Action, Service & Diversity. She is also a member of Furman University Connections – Women Leaders of the Upstate.
