Eight years after Chip Kelly tried to trade Fletcher Cox, Sam Bradford and more for Marcus Mariota, the Eagles have landed the former Oregon quarterback to be the backup to Jalen Hurts.

Mariota and the Eagles reportedly agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $8 million.

Mariota, 29, went 5-8 in 13 games a starter with the Falcons last night, throwing for 2,219 yards, 15 TDs, 9 INTs and rushing for 438 yards and 4 TDs.
