Fort Osage High School

"Fort Osage's Industrial Technology Department could use these funds to upgrade their equipment.

It's been a desire of ours for many years to have a table saw with built in saw stop technology.

Much of the equipment in general is antiquated, most of it well over 50 years old.  Our planers are pushing 70+ years...

Don't get me wrong the equipment works but it's getting difficult to make adequate repairs, due to the age of the equipment.  Inadequate funding and high cost make it extremely hard to replace worn down equipment.

This grant would help update some of our more expensive equipment-which would help to put us on equal footing with the neighboring districts.
