(610 Sports) – Former Chiefs FB Kimble Anders is set to be inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame, Kansas City Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt announced Saturday.
Anders will become the 47th player and 51st inductee into the Chiefs Hall of Fame, this fall.

“My family and I are very excited to announce Kimble’s induction into the Chiefs Hall of Fame this year,” Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt said in a statement. “At times, the raucous work of a fullback is accomplished with little fanfare, but Kimble accumulated some really remarkable figures during his career and was a key fixture in the team’s offense for a decade.”
Anders’ entire 10 year NFL career (1991–2000) was spent with the Chiefs organization, which amounted to 125 games with 94 starts, the second-most record by a running back or fullback in the franchise.
Following his playing career, Kimble embarked on a coaching career that positively influenced youth here in Kansas City as well as in his hometown of Galveston, Texas. We look forward to celebrating Kimble’s Hall of Fame joining GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium this fall,” said Hunt.
