Obviously even the idea of a Hill-Bolt race sent a not-insignificant portion of sports media into a frenzied 36-hour debate, refusing to rest until everyone loudly explained who they thought would win and why. During the Chiefs' training camp on Thursday, Pat Mahomes even gave his two cents on the next great hypothetical sports event in KC history:
"Man, it's going to be a tough one," Mahomes said on 610's The Drive. "But I'm always taking my guy Tyreek, man. I'm taking him versus anybody. If it's a 40, I think Tyreek has at least a chance. They start going a little bit longer, Usain can build speed with those long legs. But I'll take Tyreek Hill in a 40."
