(610 Sports) – If you've ever watched an NFL game, there's a really good chance that you have heard legendary sportscaster Jim Nantz's voice. Nantz, one of the most prominent figures in sports, has presented for various leagues since the early 1980s, including the NCAA, PGA and NBA, in addition to the NFL.

Nantz, who was on the call for the AFC Divisional Round playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, echoed the sentiment of many of us when talking about the 42-36 overtime thriller at Arrowhead Stadium, when he joined KCSP's 'The Drive,' on Friday.

"You have see a lot of great games and called a lot of great games, where does that game rank," asked show host Carrington Harrison?

"I'd say it's number one," said Nantz. "I've had over 500 NFL games, a couple of National Championship games, way back when I did college football, some Army-Navy games that really meant a lot to me mentally and in my heart. But I would say, as far as the NFL goes and a lot people that weren't there or have anything to do with the broadcast would say, or have been saying, that it's the best game of all time."

That's no small feat, to hear someone with over four decades of experience and has called some of the biggest games in sports, to say it's the best game he's ever seen. Nantz does, however, believe that the game's significance could dwindle if the Chiefs don't finish the job.

"I put it up there with the '06 AFC Championship Game, New England and Indianapolis when Peyton led the Colts back from nineteen down to beat New England and go on to win his first Super Bowl. That's up there, it was a 38-34 game," said Nantz. "I'd put up the Kansas City game against New England 37-31, three years ago and this one but I'd rate this one number one."

"For this thing to truly take on legendary status, they've gotta go win the championship," said Nantz. "Otherwise, it'll get a little bit lost, I think."
