CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, a two-time Super Bowl champion and Cleveland Heights native, and his mother, Donna, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Cleveland Guardians' home opener Friday.
Kelce was born in Westlake, Ohio and graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. He's the brother of Eagles star center Jason Kelce, and Kansas City defeated Philadelphia in a thrilling Super Bowl in February as Donna watched his sons from the stands.
Prior to first pitch, the Guardians will unveil the 2022 AL Central Division pennant, the Guardians 11th division crown in franchise history – the most of any team within the division.
The Guardians' game against the Seattle Mariners will mark the 30th home opener at Progressive Field since the ballpark opened in 1994.
