(610 Sports) – Travis Kelce wasn't piling up a ton of yards during Monday night's win over the Raiders, but the Chiefs' All-Pro tight end was catching passes when it counted. Patrick Mahomes' top target set, not only a Chiefs' franchise record, but also a "Monday Night Football" single-game receiving record with four touchdown catches on the night.

With the Chiefs trailing 17-0 in the second quarter, Mahomes hit Kelce on a 3rd-and-goal pass from the Raiders' 1-yard line, for his first touchdown catch of the night. The duo hooked up again midway through the third quarter on 3rd & goal from 4-yards out. Roughly six minutes later, Kelce got the hat trick when he caught a pass eight yards out and was able to evade a handful of Raiders would-be tacklers before getting into the end zone. Kelce's fourth and final score came in the final frame on a blown coverage catch from one yard out.

When the dust finally settled, Kelce found himself as the first player with four receiving TDs, all fewer than 10 yards, in NFL history, according to the CBS Sports research team. He also became just the 42nd player in NFL history to record four touchdown catches in a single game, including the playoffs

Kelce now leads the NFL in TD catches (7), ahead of Bills WR Stefon Diggs, Rams WRr Cooper Kupp, Ravens TE Mark Andrews, and Commanders WR Jahan Dotson who are all tied with five.

Kelce's seven touchdowns on the year are just two shy of his 2021 season total (nine).
