(610 Sports) – With just over a week until the 2022 NFL Draft, the rumor mill on potential trades and what teams are angling for which players, is at a fever pitch. One team in particular, who has been the subject of several trade scenarios, thanks in large part to their abundance of draft capital and need for both a number one wide receiver and a pass rusher to pair with DT Chris Jones, is the Kansas City Chiefs.
Joining 610 Sports' 'The Drive,' on Tuesday, Pro Football Network's Chief NFL Analyst, Trey Wingo sat down with show host Carrington Harrison to discuss the Tyreek Hill trade and the approach the Chiefs' front office should take heading into this year's NFL Draft.

"Well, look... Tyreek Hill is the NFL's version of Steph Curry, he has unlimited range and he can hit from anywhere, I think in any perfect scenario you'd like to keep Tyreek Hill because of the chemistry he has and the closeness of those three players; Tyreek, Kelce and Patrick," said Wingo. "But at the end of the day, there's the dream situation and there's the reality, the reality that changed everything was the Devante Adams' contract."
"As you probably know, the Chiefs were in discussion on an extension for Tyreek Hill to create cap space, which is what these extensions are always about, let's throw some money at ya so we can pretend like we made more money and put it somewhere else. Well, as soon as Devante Adams got $27 million per year, the folks in the Tyreek Hill camp said, 'yeah, hold on a minute, the contract discussions we were having are no longer relevant, because that number is out there.' So, then the Chiefs were presented with three options..."
