Was the 2021 draft the best of Brett Veach's career? It's a question that got plenty of airtime on Wednesday afternoon's episode of Cody and Gold. Too early to tell? Maybe, but it's never too early to debate. Luckily, Arrowhead Pride's Ron Kopp called into the show to (kinda) settle the debate:
"Yeah, and isn't that funny to say it's his best draft when he cut one of his players before the first game?" he said. "I think that just shows you how much the other draft picks have obviously come around. Obviously Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith both starting on offensive line, have both looked really good to start the year. I think Nick Bolton isn't going to be a major piece of the defense right away, but I do think he's going to be a good depth piece."
