The NFL found yet another way to dominate sports news on Wednesday, with news that 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel requesting a trade. Ian Rapoport added some local Kansas City intrigue with the report that the Chiefs would be a team to consider in terms of a trade, which would make Kansas City's offseason look quite a bit different. So what would it take for the Brett Veach and company to land one of the most unique players in the NFL? Bonta Hill, of 957 The Game in SF, joined The Drive on Wednesday to try and answer that way.
"I don't think [the Chiefs' two first round picks] are enough," he said. "And I wouldn't do that. It'd have to be more. This guy was your offense. He was the most dynamic player outside of Cooper Kupp. I mean, how many more dynamic players did you have in the NFL last year? Ja'Marr Chase is in that category, no doubt about that. But Deebo was a top-5 offensive weapon. Just two picks, and I don't know who's going to be there? I'd have to say no to that."
