When life delivered the unimaginable, Carri Roux of Farmington turned heartbreak into purpose. After losing her 17-year-old son Luke to an impaired driver in 2022, Carri launched the Luke Roux Foundation to make sure no family endures the same preventable tragedy.

On Saturday, June 21, Carri and her team will host their first Wiffle Ball Tournament & Community Awareness Day in Farmington. Picture a day packed with family fun—raffles, concessions, kids’ activities, giveaways—and one powerful takeaway: you’re never too young to learn never drive impaired.

Carri’s drive, resilience, and unwavering love for Luke are now moving an entire community toward safer roads. That’s why she’s our Badass Woman of the Week and gets a b badass bracelet from the Power to b line at Baribault Jewelers in Glastonbury. Want in? Grab the family, swing a plastic bat, and help Carri turn pain into positive change. 💙
