Every week, Christine and Salt interview the Badass Woman of the Week, celebrating women who've conquered challenges and emerged stronger. The honoree receives an empowering B Badass bracelet from The Power to B and is showcased on-air Fridays at 7:15 AM with Christine and Salt.

Introducing our Badass Woman of the Week: Major Christine Olmstead of Wolcott. As a single mother to two remarkable daughters, aged 20 and 18, Christine has been independently raising them since they were 3 and 5. With a master's degree in Clinical Leadership, she is a cardiac nurse and currently works full-time as a civilian consultant for the military. Alongside her civilian role, Christine is a dedicated U.S. Army Reserve officer, accumulating over 16 years of service.

Christine's family ties are strong, with her parents in Wisconsin and her sister, Michelle (a Lt. Col. in the Army) in Hawaii. Despite the distance, Christine regularly flies to Wisconsin to support her parents, especially her dad, a retired Army Colonel in his early 80's. You can clearly see the whole family is dedicated to service!

Resilient and kind, Christine exemplifies strength in leadership, motherhood, friendship, and humanity. Balancing her demanding career, she still finds time for her passions—running, hiking, cooking, and laughter. Christine's journey, including her challenging days, remains a testament to her superhuman resilience. Listen to Christine's interview with Christine and Salt below!
