Every week, Christine and Salt interview the Badass Woman of the Week, celebrating women who've conquered challenges and emerged stronger. The honoree receives an empowering B Badass bracelet from The Power to B and is showcased on-air Fridays at 7:15 AM with Christine and Salt.
In a dazzling kick-off to 2024, Lisa Bahre from Canton shines as our Badass Woman of the Week, nominated by her son-in-law, Adam White. Adam and wife Lisa, co-owners of W & K Restoration in East Hartford, brought extra sparkle to 2023's end by making a generous contribution to Rise and Shine CT during Christine and Salt's "5000 Toys for Girls and Boys" drive.
Lisa, the force behind Sisters Oil Service, has been delivering home heating oil to the Farmington Valley and Litchfield County since 2011. Imagine this: Best Oil Provider for eight straight years (2016-2023) according to the "Best of the Valley Press" awards – talk about a powerhouse!
Known for her hardworking and passionate spirit, Lisa is the epitome of badassery. Leading Sisters Oil, she goes above and beyond by donating a penny-per-gallon, contributing nearly $100k to Hartford Healthcare breast cancer patients and various programs since 2011. Seems philanthropy runs in the family!
