This week's Badass Woman of the Week is Lori Coviello of Terryville — nominated by her friend Kayla Verderame, who writes, "Lori was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in January, 2023. She is a wonderful and dedicated mother and wife, a fabulous third grade teacher and an avid runner. Lori became passionate about running after having her two children, Evan and Maya. She's run countless races and placed in many of them as a top female runner for her age group. She has also started running marathons as well, including Boston. All of the things Lori is passionate about — including her love of Dave Matthews Band concerts —have been put on pause due to her recent cancer diagnosis.
