Every week, Christine and Salt interview the Badass Woman of the Week, celebrating women who've conquered challenges and emerged stronger. The honoree receives an empowering B Badass bracelet from The Power to B and is showcased on-air Fridays at 7:15 AM with Christine and Salt.
Meet this week's Badass Woman of the Week, Nazly Maguire from New Britain! Despite facing numerous challenges in her life, Nazly has shown incredible strength and resilience.
At just 19, she became her father's sole caretaker after he suffered multiple strokes that left him partially paralyzed. Her dedication continued as she pursued a career in the non-profit sector, advocating for victims of domestic violence. Nazly's journey led her to a role as a Judicial Marshal, and she eventually became a Victim Services Advocate with the state, making a significant impact in her community. She also contributed her time and effort to the CT Breast Health Initiative, raising funds for breast cancer research.
Recently, Nazly welcomed her first child, a girl, into the world. Her determination to leave a positive legacy for her daughter is inspiring, showing that resilience and making a difference are possible even in the face of adversity. Nazly Maguire exemplifies strength, compassion, and perseverance, making her a true Badass Woman, check out her interview with Christine and Salt below.
