Christine and Salt get Brian Shactman to finally talk about *that* Russell Brand MSNBC viral video
A video from 2013 has gone viral again. It features Russell Brand as a guest on MSNBC's Morning Joe where host Mika Brzezinski starts the interview by saying she doesn't know who Brand is. Then she refers to him as "he" like he's not in the room. Of course, Brand tore Mika up, but not before co-host — and current WTIC AM host, Brian Shactman — tries to save the derailing train. Christine and Salt talked to Brian about the crazy encounter and Brian revealed he has never spoken about the incident ever on the air — until now! He says he was as surprised as anyone that MSNBC decided to actually air the RECORDED interview. Yep, it was recorded, not live. So the fact that MSNBC aired it knowing it was so cringe is veeeery interesting. Check out the full interview below.
