Danielle Afonso of Plainville doesn't play when it comes to her favorite holiday, Halloween. Last year when Christine and Salt checked in with Connecticut's Queen of Halloween, Danielle revealed she had procured THREE of those 12 foot tall skeletons from Home Depot. Remember, those things are IMPOSSIBLE to get your hands on, but Danielle has witchy powers and — hocus, pocus — now she has FIVE! But wait there's more...the Afonso's also have two 12 foot inferno pumpkins, a 12 foot witch, a 9.5 foot wolf and a 15 foot phantom — a real show stopper!
In addition to new scary creatures, Danielle has also joined up with Skeletons for Hope — a nationwide effort of haunters to raise $100,000 dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the 2022 Halloween and Holiday seasons. Danielle's goal is to raise $1000 locally. Folks can drive by the Afonso home located on Rockwell Avenue in Plainville and using a QR code on a sign in their front yard, make any size donation they like.
