Dress for Success Hartford has been doing some seriously empowering work for 24 years now, and guess what? This year marks their 25th anniversary! How incredible is that? You know, it's a tough time out there for women trying to make economic gains, but that's exactly why Dress for Success Hartford's mission is more important than ever. They're making a real impact in the lives of women, helping them achieve economic independence and success. And here's something heartwarming – Christine and Salt, the morning duo behind Rise and Shine Connecticut, along with all the Rise and Shine CT board members, unanimously decided to step up and show their support. They're making a generous $1000 donation to Dress for Success Hartford, all in honor of Women's History Month.

Christine and Salt had an inspiring conversation with Sara Avatapalli, Executive Director of Dress for Success Hartford. The affiliate, serving over 8,500 women since 1998, focuses on long-term support, not just finding jobs. The $1000 surprise donation from Rise and Shine CT left Sara deeply grateful, knowing it will impact women and families in the community. Christine and Salt also added a fun twist – they want to WERK THE RUNWAY at the 18th Annual Capital Catwalk! Let's keep supporting these initiatives and empowering women on their journey to economic independence. Check out the full interview below.
